You guys! Exciting stuff this week! I have a new spot for indoor photos! We re-arranged our living room about a week and a half ago, and the serious fringe benefit is that I got a new spot for outfit photos. I didn’t even realize how tired I was of the bedroom photos until I had something new and fresh. I long to create these posts with more variety in the photography, but it can be very tricky most days.
This week was pretty good in terms of getting dressed. Most outfits came easily, and I mixed and matched a little more than I normally do in summer. As we near the end of the season I find myself wanting to experiment a little more because I’ve worn some of my tried and true combos so many times. Here’s what I came up with.

Cotton Tank, old Everlane (similar) | Clyde Work Pant (4/R), in cotton twill, Elizabeth Suzann, SS17 (similar in cotton canvas) | Madrid Sandal, Birkenstock | Necklace, c/o Rebecca Mir Grady | Vintage Sisal Bag, Etsy | Hat, Brookes Boswell
Style Notes: This outfit came together ridiculously easy, on a hot, busy day. No time for doing hair = hat. Hot outside = tank. A/C inside = pants. Need for comfort = Birks. After I threw on all the pieces, I realized they presented in sort of a farmer-chic way, and I loved it! Late summer at its best.

Top, Miranda Bennett (similar) | Clyde Work Short (6) in Linen, Elizabeth Suzann, SS17 | Wedge Clogs (41), No.6 | Classic Tote, c/o Cuyana
Style Notes: Every once in awhile I manage to get invited to some cool blogger-related events around town. On Tuesday Mr. Seasons and I went to the soft launch of a new Quickfish restaurant location (it was suuuuper tasty), and I kicked up my daywear with a leather bag and clogs. Loved how I felt in this outfit.

Air Dolman Tee (M), c/o Everlane | Tank Wrap Dress (6), c/o Everlane | Birkenstocks | Vintage Sisal Bag, Etsy
Style Notes: Decided to give my wrap dress some love today. I’ve come to realize I like it best layered over a tee. I tried it first with my girlfriend tee (see below), but I didn’t like the way it came together. It does work super well with this Air tee, which I like, but you have to be careful to never dry it. I made that mistake once, and now it’s a little funky. I do think I will try layering this dress with my burgundy, 3/4 top when the weather cools down.
This dress is made from GoWeave, Everlane’s popular 100% triacetate, drapey, wrinkle-resistant fabric. I have mixed feelings about this material. I am not a huge fan of synthetic fabrics purely based on how they feel on my body. I don’t even like silk that much. The GoWeave is kind of slippery and thick, there really isn’t any other fabric I can compare it to. I don’t love how it feels, and it can be kind of heavy, but it’s very sturdy and stands up well to most things that come its way.

Girlfriend Tee (M), Tradlands | Jeans, Vintage Levi’s (501) (similar) | Sandals, old Everlane (similar) | Hat, Brookes Boswell | Vintage Sisal Bag, Etsy
Style Notes: Jeansssss! I have missed my vintage-beloveds during these dog days of summer! We were headed to an outdoor concert in a park, and since the night was set to be cool, jeans it was. I felt pretty casual in my jeans and t-shirt, so I opted for nicer sandals instead of Birks. Love how this look came together.
Side Note: This is my treasured fiddle leaf fig plant! I’ve been giving it my love and affection for more than a year now, and it’s gotten so tall! I scored this one for $19.99 at the local grocery/department store. For the first time in my life, I think I have a green thumb! Eventually, when I’m feeling brave, I’ll re-pot him into one of these amazing planters

Candela Utility Dress c/o Able, (M) | Birkenstocks | Jacqui Bag, made in Portland, c/o (use code ‘SS+Jacqui’ to save 15%)
Style Notes: Just as the temperatures shift, so do my preferences. Friday I felt ready to start using some of my leather bags again after a summer filled with loving on my vintage sisal bag. Maybe it was also my way of subliminally trying to dress up this look too.

Baseball Cap, Everlane | U-Neck Tee (M), Everlane | Modern BF Jeans (27), Everlane | Birkenstocks | Jacqui Bag, made in Portland, c/o (use code ‘SS+Jacqui’ to save 15%)
Style Notes: I threw on these clothes in the morning to go do a yardwork-related project, telling myself later I’d actually put together an outfit. But you know what? I was so comfortable, I kept rolling with it. Here is ‘casual Andrea.’ Had to sneak in the leather bag again though.
More Plants: This is my beautiful monstera plant that a friend gave me when she moved away. After my fig, this is probably my favorite plant. It’s really cool in that the stalks of the leaves actually become pregnant and then split open to bring new growth. Fun fact: the more light the plant sees, the more splits in the leaves.

Pima Micro Rib Scoop Neck Tee | Clyde Work Pant (4/R), in cotton twill, Elizabeth Suzann, SS17 (similar in cotton canvas) | Day Glove flat (10.5), c/o Everlane | Jacqui Bag, made in Portland, c/o (use code ‘SS+Jacqui’ to save 15%)
Style Notes: For some reason this was the hardest day of the week for me to get dressed. Anytime I feel a time pressure, my mind goes blank. I enjoyed wearing this outfit, but didn’t love it. It feels like it’s missing a third piece, but I am not sure what. Maybe a cool linen kimono. But I don’t really wear those, so… Here we are, with probably my least favorite look from the week, but I still don’t hate it.

The Chicest New
Unisex Looks
In partnership with our friends at Timex
There was a time and a place for pink-is-for-girls and blue-is-for-boys. But it was on the jungle gym a few decades ago. Right around the time we walked off the recess field, we clued in to the fact that boyfriend jeans, heavy watches, and a cool pair of kicks work equally well for all genders. (Later we also realized they can be sexy as all get-out.) That’s when a whole new world opened up—one with classic trench coats; chic, spacious bags; and pieces that are the slash mark in his/hers.
Those times you have errands, maybe a meeting, probably something with the kids, and then three stops you didn’t plan on, versatility is key. Neutral tones, canvas jeans, a cashmere sweater—these are elements that play nicely together. Different textures (g’morning, suede bag and lizard-skin watchband!) provide a little edge.

The To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before sequel is officially happening; Netflix definitely heard our prayers for another installment of Lara Jean Covey’s romantic escapades and they’re bringing back Lana Condor's Lara Jean for another installment in the near future.
While there isn’t a release date yet, the cast is gearing up for the next movie with some wishful thinking of their own. In speaking with ET, actress Lana Condor revealed which romantic moment she’d like to see in the sequel — and it doesn’t involve Noah Centineo’s dashingly adorable Peter Kavinsky.
She began by saying that she doesn’t know much about the sequel script. “I know I'm in it! I know Noah's in it. That's literally it. And I read the second book, so that's what I know and I feel like that's all I need to know until, eventually, things fall into place."
That doesn’t mean she doesn’t have her own ideas for what should happen to Lara Jean and her many suitors, particularly John Ambrose. “I love when Lara Jean and John Ambrose go to the [nursing] home," she told ET. (In the book, they get stuck there during a snowstorm.) "I love the snow... that moment when John Ambrose and [Lara Jean] are in the snow playing. When I read that, it was romantic to me. Every little girl thinks about a kiss in the snow with someone that they might like. For me, I would love [it] more than anything ‘cause it’s romantic and cute!" It’s also very movie-friendly. “Cinematically, can you imagine how pretty that would be? It would be gorgeous and I want the gorgeous!"
We do know that Lara Jean is getting a major new love interest in the sequel, and it sounds like it’s John Ambrose. That role has yet to be cast, though we’re there’s likely no shortage of young actors dying to join the TATBILB crew. Plus, who doesn’t love a love triangle? Lana is definitely down, and even Noah said he’d enjoy some Twilight-style triangle action.
"There’s nothing more fun than a love triangle," Lana told ET. "The drama? I live for the drama!”

I don’t do many beauty posts because I honestly don’t change up my beauty routine much at all. The core of my nightly routine is the same Clinique 3-Step system I’ve been using since I was a teenager! So while I can talk about clothes, shoes, and books until I get blue in the face and never run out of material—beauty posts eventually start to be a bit repetitive. I also don’t like to talk about things I’m trying until I’ve really had a chance to experiment with them and know they work for me. It’s why you also almost never see paid beauty posts on my blog because the brands that approach me are unfamiliar to me and they aren’t usually open to a trial period of a few months before a post! Still got my fingers crossed a few of my favorite beauty brands will approach me one day because that would be a dream…But I digress from the point, which is: here’s a beauty post with a few of my tied and tested favorites from the past year!
Tarte Rainforest of the Sea cleansing gel: After falling in love with Tarte’s shape tape, I started to try a few more products from that brand and now half of my makeup bag is Tarte products! I have fairly sensitive skin, so when I find a brand that my skin agrees with I tend to really lean into it--now I have some very necessary mermaid makeup brushes and this cleansing gel. The makeup brushes don’t get a lot of use, but this cleansing gel is lovely! It makes my skin feel very clean and fresh and doesn't dry it out. I'm not a big experimenter, so it's lovely to find a brand that just works for me and it's nice trying different products from the same brand but still having good results.
My two favorite nail polishes: I think I only wore three nail polish colors for the whole of 2018—this neutral shade, this burnt orange color, and red around Christmas. Post-Christmas I’m already back to the burnt orange color (Playing Koi by Essie); on the nails it’s actually a bit darker than my ideal color but is the closest to a perfect rust tone I covet. When I was younger I loved painting my nails and would even sport multiple colors on multiple fingers, but these days I like nails to be the subtle polish (pun intended) to a look rather than a main feature. I like colors that generally match with all my outfits and don’t distract from them, so in spring a perfect light neutral, specifically Maybelline's Second Skin (a lovely not too pink shade) works and in winter a cozier rust-y shade that matches 99% of my wardrobe.|

Dove Cameron is taking some time off from portraying Cher Horowitz in the Clueless musical in order to prioritize her health.
In an Instagram post on December 30, the Descendants star told her fans that she was spending some time in the ER after experiencing a neck and back injury. “I haven’t been able to see a specialist or get an MRI,” the actor told her followers in a note, adding that “something happened with my upper spine, neck, and surrounding nerves” while she was dancing. According to Dove, after it happened, she couldn’t rotate her neck or back at all — which sounds super-painful, not to mention scary.
However, the 22-year-old wants her followers to know that she’s going to be fine, writting that she needs to rest in order to not further aggravate her injury. “Because of this, I’ve had to miss a few performances of Clueless The Musical,” she added. “It’s made me sadder than anything, but @katiegoffman and the whole cast and company is so tremendous. I know you all saw some incredible shows, which warms my heart to no end.” In addition to her note, Dove shared a photo of her ER bracelet, fastened over a black-and-white-sleeve. She also added that her injury was "no one's fault," and is quite common for a performer such as herself.
Dove’s post comes just a few days after she announced that she would be taking a social media break, telling her followers that her “anxiety is at an all time high,” noting that she hadn't been the best version of herself. “I think I’m going to try to take a social media break,” she explained in a Twitter post on December 27. “Just a few days. To see if it helps. I love you all so much! Truly, from the purest part of my heart. Thank you for everything.”
It’s clear that Dove’s fans are supporting her no matter what. Her recent picture from the ER was soon flooded with loving comments from her followers. “Broadway performers are some of the most hardworking people in the country, and if they need to stop due to health problems, that's totally OK,” one person wrote, acknowledging that it’s wrong for audience members to be cruel to actors for missing a show (preach). “I hope you take as much time as you need for a full recovery,” another fan wrote.
Just as it’s totally fair for singers to cancel concerts due to health reasons, it’s important to respect the needs of all celebrities when they need to prioritize their well-being. We hope that Dove starts to feel better soon; Cher’s yellow plaid skirt will be waiting for her whenever she’s ready.

It’s official: Lea Michele and Zandy Reich are married!
The Glee alum exchanged vows with her now-husband on Saturday, March 9 in front of a group of their closest friends and family, People reports. According to photos obtained by People, Lea wore a strapless white gown with a full, layered skirt during the ceremony in California. The actor’s hair was swept back in a low bun, with a long veil trailing behind her. Keeping it just as classic, Zandy donned a black tux, complete with a bowtie and shiny dark shoes.
“We are so excited to be married and grateful to be surrounded by our friends and family,” the couple said in a statement to People. “And most of all, we’re so happy to spend the rest of our lives together.”
Lea and Zandy got engaged in April 2018 in a sweet beach proposal that the Scream Queens star documented on Instagram at the time. “Yes,” she captioned the obligatory ring pic, showing off the sparkly 4-carat diamond.
In the months leading up to their engagement, Lea has shared plenty of adorable couple shots on IG, calling Zandy her “everything,” and writing: “I cannot wait to marry you.”
On social media, fans expressed their support and excitement over Lea and Zandy’s nuptials. “After everything she’s been through, she finally got her happily ever after,” one fan wrote, while another tweeted: “I‘m so happy for her, she deserves the world!”
“I’m very happy and I think you can tell,” Lea told People of her relationship in 2017. “I don’t really talk a lot about my personal life, but I’m also the kind of person where I always say, ‘You will see how happy I am just by looking at my face.’ I can’t hide it.”
